About Ag Drone Sprayers
Ag Drone Sprayers is an independent marketplace that helps farmers find, compare, and hire for-hire agricultural drone-spraying operators — and helps legitimate operators get found. It is free for farmers and free to list, and it is not an ad auction: ranking is based on verification and relevance, not who pays the most.
How we verify operators
Drone spraying is regulated work — it touches FAA aviation rules and state pesticide law. So every listing is cross-checked against public records before it appears on the map:
- FAA records — Part 137 Agricultural Aircraft Operator certificates and Section 44807 exemptions, matched against the operator and their service area.
- State pesticide regulators— commercial pesticide business and applicator licenses, issued by each state’s Department of Agriculture.
- Business registration — Secretary of State records to confirm the business is real and active.
- Identity & service area — for claimed listings, we confirm the operator manages the listing and actually covers the area shown.
Listings that can’t be substantiated are kept out of the public map and search. You’ll see the specific credentials we confirmed on each operator’s profile.
Our data & sources
Coverage areas come from operators’ stated service radius and mapped boundaries. Pricing guidance on the site is benchmarked to published agricultural custom-rate surveys — primarily the Iowa State University Iowa Farm Custom Rate Survey — and FAA regulatory facts come from the FAA’s Part 137 guidance. Our guides cite their sources so you can check the facts yourself.
Questions or corrections
Operators can claim or create a listing, and anyone can contact us with a correction. We want the directory to be accurate above all.
